  1. Official Statements and Purpose of Use on Personal Information

    CarterIgnite K.K. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) states how to handle personal information and the purpose of use below.

    * We accept requests regarding the notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use or provision to third parties; and disclosure of records of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “disclosure, etc.”) for personal information subject to disclosure.

(5) How to Request, complain, and consulate for Personal Information Subject to Disclosure

Please contact the Consultation Desk above for requests regarding requests, complaints, and consultations for personal information subject to disclosure.

(Please kindly note that other departments nor contact points cannot accept any correspondence to these matters at the Company.)

To apply for a disclosure request for personal information subject to disclosure, please download the Application Form for Personal Information Inquiry, fill in the required information, and send it to the Consultation Desk along with your identification documents. A fee of JPY 1000 per request from domestic is required for the notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, disclosure of records of provision to third parties for personal information subject to disclosure.

  2. Identification Document
    Please attach a copy of your valid identification: driver’s license or passport

    *If the request is made by a representative*

    Certificate that proves the relationship between the principal
    Please attach a document certifying the right to represent the principal:
    a) in the case of a parent, a family register within six months of issuance or a health insurance card containing a section of the principal’s name is sufficient.
    b) In the case of an adult ward*, a certificate of the matters registered in the guardianship registry within six months of issuance is sufficient.

    * Legal representative or a person to whom the authority to represent the principal has been authorized by the principal


  3. Identification Document
    Please attach a copy of the valid identification of the representative: driver’s license or passport

    (6) The Company’s Response to the Request

    After receiving the request, the Company will confirm your application and the attachments and then promptly respond to it. If the Company is unable to respond to disclosure, etc., due to reasons under clause (7), the Company shall notify you.

    (7) Cases of Inability to Respond

    Please note that in the following cases, we may not be able to accept disclosure:

    • When a disclosure request is out of subject to disclosure by the Company

    • When the information cannot be disclosed for legal reasons

    • When the Company is no longer handling the relevant personal information

    • When notification of the purpose of use of personal information subject to disclosure or payment of the fee from the applicant cannot be confirmed


  4. Security Measurements for Retained Personal Data and Records of Provision to Third Parties

    1. Organizational Measurements

      • A manager of the protection of personal information promotes initiatives

      • Compliance with internal rules regarding the protection of personal information is reviewed through audits and other means

      • An education on the protection of personal information is regularly conducted

      • A confidentiality pledge is signed between employees who treat personal data

    2. Physical Security Measurement

      • Office access is restricted

    3. Technical Security Measurements

      • Access controls are in place to ensure that only the minimum number of personnel necessary are allowed access to personal information

      • Anti-virus software is installed to protect against external threats
