Strengthening User Experience for a New Sports Streaming Platform
Overview
Ahead of launching a new digital content platform in Japan, our client sought to better understand how users would interact with the site.
The goal was to uncover any confusion or hesitation during the sign-up journey, assess how cultural and language factors might affect behavior and trust building, and identify areas for improvement before going live.
We conducted individual user sessions where participants first explored the website freely, then completed a set of tasks such as registering, navigating content, and adjusting preferences. Sessions were held across multiple devices to reflect real-life usage.
Results
The findings gave the client a clear picture of how real users experienced the platform, highlighting specific pain points in design, flow, and messaging. These insights shaped several product improvements and formed the basis for a second testing round ahead of launch.

“I just wanted to drop you an individual note to say a massive thank you for another great round of user testing. It was great to work with all of you again, and our CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who you met this morning was very impressed too.”
